The Westhampton Beach Hurricanes traveled to William Floyd High School last Saturday to take part in the 33rd annual Kujan Brothers Individual Tournament. Coming of a lopsided League VI week that saw the Hurricanes squash Amityville 69-15 on Tuessday and then in turn being manhandled by League Champion Rocky Point 67-12 on Thursday, the Canes were looking for an outlet for pent up League VI frustrations. The Kujan Tournament turned out to be just what the Canes needed! WHB had 3 champions and 13 total podium finishes as well as finishing 3rd as a team in a very close battle. The Hurricanes have some very tough young team members. This was no more obvious than in the 99 pound weight class where WHB finished with 1st, 3rd and 6th place!
