Canes pummel East Hampton; capture 2nd at Kujan tournament!!

The Hurricanes traveled to East Hampton on Friday afternoon (1/13) to face East Hampton. As expected, WHB handled the bonackers easily with the final score 73-6. The Canes then headed to William Floyd on Saturday (1/14) for the 32nd annual Kujan Tournament. The young WHB team performed very well, capturing 13 podium positions which included 2 first-time podium finishers and 3 overall champions. The Hurricanes finished in 2nd place in the 10-team tournament that was won by host William Floyd. William Floyd landed 10 wrestlers in the finals and faced the Canes in 3 of our 4 finals. WHB took 2 of those 3 match-ups (160 & 170)

The Hurricanes will host Sayville on Wednesday night (1/18) on Senior night which will close out League VI action, and then will travel on Friday and Saturday (1/20&21) to the Beth Page dual tournament.
