Senior Matt Tobin's final victory on the mat as a Hurricane came yesterday (1/2/2016) against Myers of Newfield at 160 pounds and was a pin in 42 seconds. Matt suffered his season ending injury the next match against Sayville. Though he will be fine, he won't wrestle again as a Hurricane. We assumed we would see this sight many more times this season and postseason. Work and wrestle hard Canes, there is no guarantee of a next match. I'm pretty sure I paraphrased that from Coach Bass.
